Romeo and Juliet

Theatre makers Contender Charlie and China Plate join forces to present Romeo and Juliet – Mad Blood Stirring, an introduction to the timeless story, at Z-arts in Manchester, March 2.

From the team behind Macbeth – Blood Will Have Blood comes a retelling of Shakespeare’s tragic love story.

Shakespeare’s original language is used by most characters, but the audience are guided through the action by the Friar using modern-day English, so it’s suitable for audiences aged 9 to 13.
