The Lifesavers
A new play by Fraser Grace, directed by Paul Robinson.
Society has obliterated itself and childrearing is a risk humankind
can no longer afford to take. Protected from their parents, the children
of the world are now fostered by the senate. With family and futures
cleanly wiped out, the hope of the species now lies solely in the
hands of The Lifesavers. An exhilarating thriller from multi award-winning
playwright Fraser Grace (Breakfast with Mugabe for the Royal
Shakespeare Company).
Produced by Theatre503 and Mercury Theatre Company, Colchester.

Hallelujah
Anew comedy by Jane Brodie, directed by Gemma Fairlie.
Hallelujah is Theatre503s Rapid Write play for 2009.
Rapid Write is a play commissioned by Theatre503, which is written
in a mere three weeks before the start of rehearsals. Rapid Write
is an immediate response to current affairs and has become an annual
event at 503.
An English woman, an Irish woman and an estate agent, are trapped
in a colourless hotel. The TV is stuck on one channel, the windows
don't open and a muzak version of Hallelujah is being pumped
into the room. None of them can afford the minibar. A black comedy
about being in the red.
Produced by Theatre503 and Pyre Productions.

Tin Horizon
By Orlando Wells directed by Phoebe Barran.
Vladimir has problems. His servants wont listen, his ex is coming
to stay, and his taxidermy shop is attracting unwanted interest from
the police. Worse there is a distinct possibility the Messiah is coming
for breakfast. Anarchic and unexpected, Tin Horizon is a playful
vision of where we might be heading.
Produced by Theatre503 and Tin Horizon Productions.
