Dateline: 21st March, 2004 Theatre Record Theater Record, the publication founded in 1981 by Ian Herbert, which reprints in full all the national drama critics' reviews of productions in and out of London, with full casts and credits, now has a new editor, Ian Shuttleworth. Ian Shuttleworth has been theatre critic for the Financial Times since 1994 and has also contributed to The Sunday Times, Guardian, London Evening Standard, Observer, Independent, Daily Mail, Sun, Scotsman and The Stage. "I'm delighted and grateful that Ian Herbert has entrusted me with the magazine he founded in 1981 and developed into exactly what its title proclaims: the organ of record of British theatre criticism," he says. "I'll be doing my best, with Ian's continuing advice, to consolidate and develop that position and also to open up new avenues for Theatre Record online."
