Thick As Thieves, a new play by Mark Whiteley, directed by David Crowley, opens at ReTale Oldham Mumps on September 23.
It’s an anarchic comedy about two career convicts, their life of crime and a budgie. Coronation Street’s Steven Arnold plays Steph ‘the Earl’ Aston, the burglar with ambitions of building his own crew.
Another Coronation Street favourite, Jonny Dixon, plays ‘nice but dim’ Barry struggling to go straight after leaving prison.
It’s being performed in an ex-pram shop in now renamed ReTale and has only 45 seats available per night.
