"Celebrity" Titmuss to Make Stage Debut Former nurse turned "celebrity" Abi Titmuss is to appear on stage at London's Courtyard Theatre in King's Cross in Arthur Miller's 1983 two-hander Two-Way Mirror. She will play prostitute Angie in the show which is a combination of two short plays, Elegy for a Lady and Some Kind of Love Story. Her co-star will be American actor Jay Benedict (Alien, The Russia House, Saving Grace). The production will be directed by the man voted Best Director in the 2005 London Fringe Reports Awards, Mike Miller. Titmuss rose to fame as the girlfriend of TV presenter John Leslie who lost his job as a result of a sex scandal and she appeared in "reality" TV series Celebrity Love Island (2005) and Hell's Kitchen (2004). A number of home-mde pornographic vidoes in which she features are circulating on the Internet. She described Two-Way Mirror as "the most beautiful play I've ever read" and said, "I can't wait to get on stage and bring it to life - I feel a mixture of sheer joy and absolute terror." She has, she says, done some acting training. The play is believed to have been inspired by Miller's relationship with his one-time wife Marilyn Monroe.
