Leicester theatre Curve has received a gold tourism award from VisitEngland.
Curve picked up the national Access for All Tourism Award and saw off competition from attractions including Sandcastle Waterpark, Blackpool.
Fiona Allan, Curve’s chief executive, said, “We’re pleased that our unique and truly accessible building has been recognised in this way.
“We’re proud of our programme and all the other work we do to ensure that Curve is accessible to all, from enhanced performances through to accessible pricing and community productions.
“This recognition helps us spread the word that Curve is a fantastic venue and a key attraction in Leicestershire’s varied and vibrant tourism.”
