Emerging from the Traverse Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre is launching two new initiatives that will form part of an inaugural season of work by emerging artists to take place in November 2006. Emerging Theatre CompaniesThe Traverse is seeking two exciting theatre companies to take part in the inaugural emerging artists season at the Traverse Theatre. Each company will receive professional support, a bursary and the opportunity to perform as part of the season. The closing date for applications is Monday 12th June, 2006, at 10am Emerging WritersThe Traverse is also looking for up to twnety of the most promising writers to take part in a ten day residency as part of the inaugural emerging artists season. Each writer will be offered a fully paid residency with script development, masterclasses and mentoring by leading playwrights.
