Masterclasses at the Haymarket
The Theatre Royal, Haymarket, has announced three new Masterclasses.
They are:
Stephen Poliakoff
Friday 10 June 2005: 14:30 - 16:30
Writer and director Stephen Poliakoff, best known for the BBC dramas
Shooting the Past and The Lost Prince, discusses writing
for theatre and the screen.
Anita Dobson
Friday 24 June 2005: 14:30 - 16:30
Anita Dobson draws on her experience as Eastenders' character;
Angie Watts, to share her advice on 'Surviving Soaps'.
Kwame Kwei-Armah
Tuesday 28 June 2005: 14:30 - 16:30
Acclaimed writer and performer Kwame Kwei-Armah runs an interative
Masterclass at the Theatre Royal. This workshop on screen acting will
focus on actors working from script to performance.
There's also an Opening Doors - Musical Theatre event:
Friday 1 July 2005
A panel event with writer Paul Sirrett, director Clint Dyer and casting
director Pippa Ailion. Packed with up-to-date information about coping
with auditions, training, how to get someone to read your script -
its an invaluable session for anyone wanting to work in musical
theatre.
