Comic stunts and mayhem: Tweedy the clown

Gloucestershire clown Tweedy will take centre stage for the 2017 panto at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre.

The venue will produce Dick Whittington from Friday 24 November until Sunday 7 January 2018 and for the sixth time Tweedy will appear as the funny man.

Everyman chief executive Geoffrey Rowe said, “I’m delighted that Tweedy has agreed to be in Dick Whittington. He promises a whole new range of comic stunts and mayhem. Tweedy entertains both children and adults in the audience equally. He’s a true original.

“Last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk broke all records, so we’re anticipating another great Christmas and new year for all the family.”
