Unity Theatre in Liverpool’s summer season runs from April to August with a mix of drama, comedy and dance, including the 10th annual PhysicalFest, the return of Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, Edinburgh previews and a new production of the Broadchurch writer's play about sexuality and football, Gaffer.

Their third annual Improvageddon at the end of this month draws four top improv teams together. While early next month Teapot Tantrum productions return with a comedy drama about four friends travelling to the bright light of Pier End.

Gaffer, in June, is Chris Chibnall's (the writer of TV’s Broadchurch) acclaimed play about homophobia, useless defenders, sexuality and the beautiful game.
