Unity wins Liverpool prize

Unity Theatre won Entertainment Venue of the Year 2018 at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.

The theatre triumphed in a category that included the Liverpool Philharmonic, The Palm House, Constellations, the Empire Theatre, LEAF on Bold Street and Liverpool’s Royal Court.

The theatre recently celebrated the completion of £850,000 capital redevelopment. It is their second accolade in three months, with Unity’s Anthony Proctor named Creative Professional of the Year at the Liverpool Lifestyle Awards in March.
