HOME in Manchester has a new theatre programme, celebrating international artists and emerging talent, as well as developing original work in two theatre spaces.

At the heart of the new season are two fresh takes on classic texts. Premièring this September is OthelloMacbeth, a fusion of two of Shakespeare’s works in a new ensemble production. Next, a new spin on Genet’s radical, subversive and playful modern classic The Maids explores the complex relationship between servant and employer.

HOME continues to curate an international programme featuring companies from around the world. Hofesh Shechter Company, which sold-out its February 2018 run at HOME, brings its brand-new production SHOW to Manchester for the first time. Theatre company 1927 also returns with its landmark production The Animals and Children Took to the Streets, blending theatre and animation.

HOME continues to offer entertainment for all ages at Christmas. For 2018, it’s the music spectacular Släpstick for families and adults and White for 2- to 4-year-olds.
