The Buxton Festival of opera, music and books has announced its 2015 programme.
Opera performances will include Verdi’s Giovanna d’Arco, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor and there will be a concert performance of Charpentier’s Louise.
Olivier Award winner Elijah Moshinsky, who has previously directed productions for the Metropolitan Opera New York and Royal Opera House Covent Garden, will direct Giovanna d’Arco.
The Derbyshire festival will run from 10 until 26 July. Further details are available at the Buxton Festival web site.
