Brian Way

Way Shortlist Announced

The shortlisted nominees for the Brian Way Award, which aims to raise the profile of young people’s theatre by honouring playwrights who write for this sector, have been announced:

• Kevin Dyer for The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Action Transport Theatre)
• Alex Jones for I’m a Minger (Operating Theatre Company)
• Amber Lone for Romeo in the City (Theatre Centre)
• Nicola McCartney for A Sheep called Skye (National Theatre Scotland)
• Douglas Maxwell for The Mothership (Birmingham Rep)
• Philip Osment for Duck! (Unicorn Theatre)
• Writers from Chol Theatre Company for Space Circus

The winner, who will be announced on 30th April, will receive a cheque for £6,000.
