From Monday to Saturday, Everybody’s Talking about Jamie comes to Newcastle Theatre Royal.

Jim Cartwright’s Road, the first production of Artistic Director Natalie Ibu, runs at Northern Stage until 30 October.

At Live Theatre, the première of Lewis Jobson’s Redcoat runs from Wednesday to Saturday.

From Tuesday to Saturday and on Saturday 6 and 13 November at 1:00, family show Meggie Magicia by Wendy Errington is at Alphabetti.

On Sunday 31 October at 8:00, Daddyy Productions presents Rapunzel—The Adult Pantomime (over-16s only) at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House with stars of Ru Paul's Drag Race US & UK.

Same Same…But Different, a family show mixing Kathak, Hip Hop dance, contemporary dance, live music and storytelling, comes to Arts Centre Washington on Thursday at 11:00 and 2:00.

On Wednesday (2:00), Thursday (11:00, 2:00 and 6:00) and Friday (11:00 and 2:00), the Customs House in South Shields presents Dennis and Achoo in The Spoopy Doopy Mansion, a Hallowe'en comedy panto for half term.

This week, Alnwick Playhouse plays host to Haddock and Chips on Tuesday at 2:00 and 7:30, Game Over (VR Guy), a 40-minute VR theatre experience about Guy who is gay, a gamer and looking for love, on Wednesday and Thursday at 12:00, 1:30, 3:00, 4:30 & 6:00 and Harpy, starring Su Pollard, on Friday at 7:30.

Fertile Ground’s Myths and Dreams comes to the Henry Travers Studio at The Maltings, Berwick on Saturday at 7:00.

Haddock and Chips comes to the Queen’s Hall, Hexham, on Thursday.

On Saturday at 1:00 and 4:00 Tom Rolfe Productions presents Pirates of the Spooky Lagoon at The Exchange, North Shields.

At Laurels, Whitley Bay, NTC presents Dracula… the Travesty: an adult show at 8:00 on Tuesday and a family-friendly show at 7:00 on Wednesday.

Haddock and Chips moves to The Gala, Durham on Friday.

At 7:00 on Tuesday at Billingham Forum in Terry Deary's Twisted Tales, a new family comedy by the author of Horrible Histories, just three actors perform over 100 roles in as many minutes. Then on Sunday at 10:30 and 1:00, Fireman Sam Saves the Circus.

On Friday and Saturday at 11:30 and 2:30, The Last Dinosaur, a show for 3- to 7-year-olds, comes to ARC Stockton. All the shows, however, are sold out but there may be returns.

There will be a Scratch Night showcasing extracts from 4 new plays and works-in-progress by local writers at Middlesbrough Theatre on Wednesday, and on Thursday Su Pollard stars in the one-woman show Harpy.

At The Hullaballoo, Darlington on Tuesday, all three performances of Spooky Stories for ages 2–7 (at 10:15, 11:15 and 1:00) are sold out.

At Harrogate Theatre, Josephine at the Library (Wednesday at 1:00 and 3:00) tells what happens when, almost 50 years after Josephine Baker's death, Cafe Josephine, a down-at-heel New York diner dedicated to her memory, faces closure. Nobody remembers Josephine, who she was, what she did, what she stood for. Then on Saturday at 7:45, in collaboration with Richard Bean (One Man Two Guvnors), Proper Job Theatre has created a new piece written by Chris O'Connor inspired by Kafka’s novel The Trial.
