At Northern Stage I Promise You Sex and Violence continues until Saturday, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof until 27 September and Choir runs on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wet House returns to Live Theatre on Wednesday and runs until 11 October and on Friday, and 24 and 25 September Alphabetti Spaghetti's response to Wet House, How Did I Get to This Point?, about homelessness runs in the Studio.

The Lion King opens at Sunderland Empire on Thursday and runs until 1 November.
