Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens at Newcastle's Theatre Royal on Tuesday and runs until 18th January.

The Christmas Grump, a show for the under-6s, continues in Stage 2 at Northern Stage until 3rd January.

Ron Hutchinson's new play Flying into Daylight opens at Live Theatre on Thursday and runs until 20th December.

The Russian State Ballet and Opera House presents The Nutcracker at the Mill Volvo Tyne Theatre on Friday.

Jersey Boys comes to Sunderland Empire on Tuesday and runs until 6th December.

Red Road Dance Theatre presents The Sense of an Ending at Arts Centre Washington on Thursday.

In a Nutshell by Puppetship and Queens Hall Arts, a show for ages 3 - 6, is at Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens on Friday at 10:30AM and 1:30PM and Saturday at 11:30AM and 2PM.

The Paper Birds bring Thirsty to Alnwick Playhouse on Tuesday and on Thursday at 11:30 and 2:00 it's In a Nutshell for age 3 - 6.

Aladdin opens at Durham's Gala Theatre on Thursday and runs until 3 January.

On Wednesday and Thursday the Paper Birds' Thirsty is at ARC Stockton.

Blood Brothers returns to Darlington Civic from Monday to Saturday.
