The Bodyguard continues at Newcastle's Theatre Royal until Saturday.

Theatre Alibi brings Michael Morpurgo's I Believe in Unicorns to Northern Stage on Thursday and Friday at 7PM and on Saturday at 2PM (for ages 6 to 12).

This week, Camisado Club takes up Alphabetti Theatre's challenge to create a play in 24 hours and the result will be shown on Sunday 19 April at 6PM. This is a "pay what you want at the end" show.

Wicked continues at Sunderland Empire until 25th April.

On Saturday at 11AM and 2PM, Third Angel presents one-man show Cape Wrath, performed in stationary minibus, at Alnwick Playhouse.

EDge, the postgraduate performance company of London Contemporary Dance School, comes to the Queen's Hall in Hexham with four new works by Siobhan Davies, Robert Clark, Eleesha Drennan and Itamar Serussi.

On Thursday, Rich Seam Theatre Company presents Royal Flush by Nick Lane at Middlesbrough Theatre.

Alphabetti Theatre's The Frights comes to ARC Stockton on Wednesday.

From Tuesday to Saturday, English Touring Theatre presents the Royal Shakespeare Company production of Thomas Middleton's A Mad World My Masters at Darlington Civic.

Middle Ground Theatre Company's production of Richard Harris's The Business of Murder is in Harrogate Theatre's Main House from Tuesday to Saturday, and on Saturday in The Studio Move to Stand presents one-man show Fat Man.
