What Falls Apart (Live Theatre)

The Regent's Park production of To Kill a Mockingbird comes to Newcastle's Theatre Royal from Monday to Saturday.

Torben Betts's new play What Falls Apart opens in the main house at Live Theatre on Wednesday and runs until 16 May, while in the studio on Thursday and Friday Sometimes We Play presents We Can Be Heroes.

On Friday at Alphabetti in Newcastle, Josh Coates presents his one-man show Particles and on Sunday it's the turn of WriteBack, script-in-hand performances of five new short plays.

Scottish Dance Theatre comes to Newcastle's Dance City this week with double bill Winter, Again and Dreamers on Thursday and Friday and Innocence (for children aged 3+) at 11AM, 2PM and 4PM on Saturday.

Wicked continues at Sunderland Empire until Saturday.

The University of Sunderland Faculty of Arts Design and Media takes over Arts Centre Washington on Thursday for Accidental Death of an Anarchist and on Saturday for The Pitchfork Disney.

Sunderland Stages presents Third Angel's Cape Wrath in a minibus in Marine Walk on Roker Seafront at 6PM and 8PM.

Cape Wrath is at the Customs House in South Shields at various times (contact box office for details) on Monday, and on Wednesday and Thursday Rubber Ear Productions presents The Devil Wears Primark.

On Sunday 26, Opera North & The Wrong Crowd present Swanhunter, a family opera by Jonathan Dove with libretto by Alasdair Middleton.

On Friday at The Maltings in Berwick, Dyad Productions presents Dalloway, based on Virginia Woolf's book.

The Russian Ice Stars bring Snow White on Ice to Billingham Forum from Wednesday to Sunday.

On Friday, Finger in the Pie presents Waiting for Stanley at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond and on Saturday Riverbank Productions brings The Adventures of Robin Hood (for ages 4 to 9) to the venue.

On Saturday one-woman show Edith, Elizabeth and I comes to the Harrogate Theatre Studio.
