On Tuesday and Wednesday, London Classic Theatre presents Alan Ayckbourn’s Absent Friends at the Gala in Durham.

Wednesday is the monthly ARCADE Scratch Night at ARC Stockton comprising work by Camisado Club, Matt Miller, Lydia Cottrell and AJ McKenna. From Tuesday until 12 September ARC presents Gordon Steel’s new play Grow Up Grandad.

The Globe on Tour brings Much Ado About Nothing to the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond from Wednesday to Saturday.
