Les Ballets Trockadero are at the Newcastle Theatre Royal on Tuesday and Wednesday and from Thursday to Sunday it’s the turn of Jacqueline Wilson’s Hetty Feather (hear our interview with Hetty adapter Emma Reeves in our podcast).

The Tempest continues at Northern Stage until Saturday.

New play Duke in the Cupboard comes to the Customs House in South Shields from Wednesday to Saturday.

On Friday and Saturday BITESIZE presents a Queen’s Hall Arts Production, Personal Growth, a new play by David Napthine, in the Green Room at the Queen’s Hall in Hexham.

At ARC Stockton on Thursday at 7PM, White Rabbit, the Albany and Birmingham Repertory Theatre present How To Be A Hero.

On Tuesday at Darlington Civic, the Russian State Ballet and Opera House presents La Traviata. Then on Saturday at 2:30, Basil Brush stars in The Full On Fox Tour 2015.

At the Georgian Theatre Royal on Thursday, KPS Productions & The Finishing Touch Company presents Jeffrey Holland in …And This is My Friend Mr Laurel.

This week and next sees the Harrogate Comedy Festival in three different venues in the Harrogate Theatre—Main House, Studio and Circle Bar—as well as the Royal Hall.
