Scottish Ballet presents Swan Lake at Newcastle Theatre Royal from Wednesday to Saturday.

The Northern Stage, Nottingham Playhouse and Nuffield, Southampton co-production of Noises Off comes to Stage 1 at Northern Stage from Wednesday until 28 May. Meanwhile in Stage 2 New International Encounter (NIE) in association with Odsherred Teater, Stiftelsen NIE and Korjammo Culture Factory presents immersive theatre performance Pim and Theo from Thursday to Saturday. The performance is not seated. And on Tuesday and Wednesday in Stage 3, AIK Productions presents Love, Bombs and Apples.

At Live Theatre on Friday Mixtape presents its latest show, The 80s.

From Wednesday to Saturday, Alphabetti Theatre presents The Frights by Louise Taylor and Theatre N16's Your Ever Loving by Martin McNamara. The Frights continues until 21 May, accompanied from Monday 16 by plays written in response to it.

Save the Last Dance for Me is at Sunderland Empire from Monday to Saturday.

Sunfest, the University of Sunderland’s drama department’s showcase, continues at Arts Centre Washington this week with two plays by Sean O’Casey, Juno and the Paycock on Thursday and Friday and The Plough and the Stars on Saturday.

End of the Rainbow is at Billingham Forum from Monday to Wednesday.

tutti frutti presents WiLd (for age 8+), a play about ADHD at 1:30 and 4:30 on Friday at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre.

Square Peg Theatre and Harrogate Theatre present The Maids by Jean Genet in The Studio from Tuesday to Saturday. On Wednesday the original and un-authorised parody of Game of Thrones, Graeme of Thrones, is in the Main House and on Saturday it’s the turn of musical Woody Sez 2016.
