The Railway Children comes to Newcastle Theatre Royal from Tuesday to Saturday. Then from Thursday to Saturday (various times) the theatre hosts The Tiger Who Came to Tea.

The National Youth Dance Company returns to Dance City on Saturday (2PM and 7:30) with Tarantiseismic choreographed by guest artistic director Damien Jalet.

Beyond the End of the Road comes to the Sage, Gateshead on Tuesday.

On Friday, Beyond the End of the Road is at Whalton Village Hall in Northumberland.

The final performance of Beyond the End of the Road is at Crossman Village Hall, part of the Holy Island Festival 2017, on Saturday at 4PM.

Dirty Dancing returns to Sunderland Empire from Monday to Saturday.

Mixtape 90s is at The Peacock (formerly The Londonderry) in Sunderland on Friday (part of Sunderland Stages).

Asif Khan’s Combustion, dealing with the lives of young British Muslims in the North today, comes to the Queen’s Hall in Hexham on Tuesday.

Never-Neverland, a “complete fantasy of horrors which are too far-fetched to believe”, is at ARC Stockton on Wednesday at 7PM.
