Peter Pan continues at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle until 21 January.

At Northern Stage, Alice in Wonderland continues until 6 January. Until 30 December (various times) Little Angel Theatre’s Me…, for age 2-4 and based on the book by popular children’s author Emma Dodd, comes to Stage 3 and runs until 30 December.

Alphabetti Theatre presents its Christmas Cabaret from Tuesday to Friday, featuring three new one person plays: A Very Mediocre Christmas by Gary Kitching starring Tony Neilson and directed by Rachael Walsh, Poundshop Giftwrap by Louise Taylor starring Rosie Stancliffe and directed by Matt Jamie and Christmas Carol by Steve Byron starring Paula Penman and directed by Karen Traynor. There will be songs and food—and the mince pies will be free to those who book in advance.

The Tyne Theatre and Opera House’s panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs until 31 December.

At the Pantodrome in Times Square, Newcastle, Jack and the Beanstalk runs until 30 December.

Sleeping Beauty at Gateshead International Stadium continues until 30 December.

Sunderland Empire’s panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, runs until 30 December.

At the Customs House in South Shields the panto The Lambton Worm runs until 6 January in the Main House while in The Studio Santa’s Naughty Elf (for the under-7s) runs until 24 December. Many performances of Santa’s NE are sold out and there is only limited availability at others.

At the Queen’s Hall in Hexham until 30 December, Oddsocks presents The Wizard of Oz.

Mortal Fools present children's show Melva in the Front Street pop-up theatre in Prudhoe until 6 January.

Cinderella continues at Playhouse Whitley Bay until 7 January.

Robinson Crusoe continues at Durham’s Gala Theatre until 6 January. In the Studio until 30 December (various times) the theatre presents Mrs Claus’ Kitchen for the under-7s. There are some performances which are not sold out.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Middlesbrough Theatre runs until 14 January.

At ARC Stockton until 23 December (various times) Nearly There Yet presents Pinocchio for age 3+, featuring circus, puppets and storytelling.

Bear and Butterfly, for ages 4 to 7, opens at The Hullabaloo in Darlington runs until 31 December.
