In Alphabetti’s rehearsal room space on Thursday at 6:30, BRASHevents presents Shoefiti, a “cutting-edge account of what it’s like to come of age within the depths of Newcastle’s clubbing culture.”

On Saturday at Dance City, Humanhood presents Zero, described as a “visually and sonically mesmerising performance of immersive sound, hypnotising lights and virtuosic movement.”

Crazy for You comes to Sunderland Empire from Tuesday to Saturday.

Fertile Ground launches its 2018 tour Fully Grounded, a double bill of Flashpoint choreographed by Robbie Graham and Leemte by ReGina Wielingen, at Sunderland Arts Academy, Durham Road, at 6:00 on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Tooth+Nail Theatre Company presents Hummingbird at Alnwick Playhouse.

The Eliot Smith Dance Company comes to the Phoenix Theatre in Blyth on Friday with a triple bill.

On Thursday, New Old Friends presents Crimes under the Sun at the Queen’s Hall in Hexham.

From Monday to Saturday, Cloud Nine presents Rainbird by Peter Mortimer, based round the life of the North Shields painter, Victor Noble Rainbird.

Crimes under the Sun comes to Durham’s Gala Theatre on Wednesday.

The Class Project, a show about belonging, written and performed by Rebecca Atkinson-Lord, comes to ARC Stockton on Wednesday.

Badapple Theatre presents Amy Johnson at Saltburn Arts on Thursday, a reimaging of the company’s first show 20 years ago.

Menopause the Musical comes to Harrogate’s Royal Hall on Thursday.
