Potteries favourites Jonathan Wilkes, who plays Buttons, and Christian Patterson, an ugly sister, are to team up again for Cinderella, the 2016 panto at Stoke’s Regent Theatre.

Wilkes will be performing in his 11th Regent panto and Patterson his eighth. Wilkes said, “I’m so excited to be back for Cinderella. Everyone knows that I love coming home to Stoke during Christmas. Panto is so much fun and I love coming back each year to spread some Christmas cheer to the people of Stoke.

“We have some great surprises in store and know that everyone who comes along to see us will have a great time.”

The rest of the cast features Simon Nehan as the other ugly sister, Michael Geary as Baron Hardup, Hannah Potts as Fairy Cupcake, Finley Guy as Cinderella and Owen Broughton as Prince Charming.

Cinderella runs at the Regent from Thursday 8 December until Sunday 8 January 2017.
