Convicts and Lunatics

Red Ladder Theatre Company and feminist dance company Gracefool Collective present a double bill at The Met in Bury on March 22, Convicts and Lunatics, showcasing women and their dangerous ideas.

Red Ladder’s Wrong 'Un, A Suffragette Story is set in February 1918 where Parliament is poised to grant votes for all women. It is the story of a Lancashire mill-girl on her journey from schoolroom to prison cell and beyond.

A century later, new dance theatre company Gracefool Collective's This Is Really Too Much delves into a world of stereotypes and power struggles.
