The Last Days Of Troy

The world première of The Last Days Of Troy—by poet and novelist Simon Armitage—continues the current spring / summer season at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre from May 8 to June 7.

The cast includes actress and model Lily Cole in a heartfelt re-telling of the story of the Trojan Wars.

At a time when the nation is commemorating World War I, it tells the story of an ancient battle, its legendary heroes and noble losers.

This new dramatisation considers how we are locked in the same cycles of conflict and revenge, of east versus west, and the same mixture of pride, lies and self-deception that fed the Trojan Wars.

Lily Cole’s film acting credits include The Moth Diaries, The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus, Passages and There Be Dragons.
