Everything that happened and would happen, by German composer and artist Heiner Goebbels, will receive its world première in Manchester from October 10 to 21.
The work integrates live music, performance and large-scale multimedia installations and will take place in Mayfield, an historic former railway station.
It’s being presented with Manchester International Festival as a pre-Factory event for its new world-class arts space being developed in Manchester.
Goebbels’s new work is inspired by contrasting source materials of European history from the First World War to the present day.
It spans 120 years of European history with a landscape of 20 performers, dancers, objects and new music.
