WOT Debts

The latest new writing script-in-hand showcase by Write on Tap (WOT), based in Newcastle, is entitled These Are the Debts We Owe, and will take place at the Dog and Parrot in the city's Clayton Street on Monday 12 May at 8PM.

Founded in 2012, WOT is a writer-led company based in Newcastle upon Tyne run by a core team of writers and theatre directors: Samantha Bell, Steven Blackshaw, Ben Dickenson, Jo McCullock, Stuart Nimmo, Deb Owen and Kim Spence. Conceived by nine graduates of Live Theatre’s Live Writers group, WOT specialises in producing new plays and developing emerging and established playwrights.

The plays in The Debts We Owe are: How D’ya Like Them Apples (by Sam Bell), Custard (by Mhairi Legerwood), Cow Juice (by Chris Wilkins), Reaper (by Kim Spence), Birds Without Wings (by Ben Dickenson), No Kardashian For Norman (by Tracy Whitwell).

The actors include James Barton, Howard Dickenson, Amy Louise Foley, Chris Foley, Zoe Hakin, James Hedley, Caroline Liversidge, Robert Nicholson, Cherry Nixon, Alexandra Tahnee, Heather Louise Carrol, Michael Blair, Pip Chamberlin, Vanessa Karon and George Phillip Williams. The directors include Ben Dickenson and Melanie Rashbrooke.
