“Europe's premier open-air Shakespeare production”: Stafford Festival Shakespeare

A number of roles are available for dancers in Stafford Festival Shakespeare’s 2017 production of The Tempest at Stafford Castle.

Producers are looking to cast between six and eight young women who are aged over 16 and have a “mature appearance” as young nymphs. The parts require good acting skills as well as a proficiency in tap and modern dance.

Individuals must be able to attend a number of rehearsals with choreographer Verity Bray on dates to be confirmed, the technical and dress rehearsals from 20 until 22 June and all scheduled performances.

Auditions will be held at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on Sunday 9 April from 10AM until 1PM. Further information is available by contacting Wes Carter on 01785 619086 or by e-mailing [email protected].

The Tempest runs from Thursday 22 June until Saturday 8 July.
