Derby Theatre is looking for young people aged between 9 and 16 to be in its production for the 2018 festive season, Mike Kenny’s adaptation of the classic tale Hansel and Gretel.
The theatre is looking for three teams of six young actors to play a range of roles. Each team will perform on different dates during the run.
Sarah Brigham, the theatre’s artistic director who will direct Hansel and Gretel said, “this is a fantastic opportunity for young people to gain audition experience and to perform alongside a professional company of actors.
“Hansel and Gretel is going to be a superb, sumptuous and magical production for the whole family and I’m looking forward immensely to a young company of local actors being an integral part of our Christmas show once again this year.”
