Spring/Summer '04 at the Young Vic

The Young Vic has announced its programme for the early months of 2004 before it closes for rebuilding:

The Skin of Our Teeth
By Thornton Wilder
4th March to 10th April (previws from 27th February)
Directed by David Lan and starring David Troughton

Cruel and Tender
By Martin Crimp, based on Sophocles' Trachiniae
5th to 15th May and 17th June to 10th July
Starring Kerry Fox

Some Voices
By Joe Penhall
(Studio production)
17th March to 3rd April (previews from 12th March
Directed by Matthew Dunster

There will also be a three week Direct Action Festival, featuring some of the UK's top young directors.

After the rebuilding, the theatre is expected to re-open in autumn 2006.
