Bubblewrap and Boxes

Asking for Trouble
Gilded Balloon Teviot

Set in a mail room where lost letters and parcels live, these two amiable children’s entertainers from Australia are surrounded by huge boxes that form the set.

The show is great, silly, clowning buffoonery with some impressive acrobatic and physical comedy. And the two actors have a special empathy for each other.

With the arrival of a mysterious red box, panic arises. What’s in the box? Could it be a bomb?

There are some lovely touches with the bubble wrap and there are some delightful stories told through postcards and letters with visits to Paris, the African Safari and an underwater adventure including an appearance of Jaws.

There are more adventures promised as the explorers set off to tour the world and say goodbye to their previous box world. A delightful performance that the youngsters in the audience liked.
