Artscape & Assembly South African Season
Assembly Roxy

Brilliant!!!! F***ing brilliant. This is one of those psychotic, dark shows that is not for the faint of heart. But it is for every actor, writer, artist, believer who has ever been pissed on, metaforically or actually, by society.

Three actors who are so much better than the bears that they are playing in a mall to entertain kids and who think it can't get much worse, find out that it can.

You'll understand from the beginning when one of the actors has just lost a job because the theatre company doing the Glengarry Glen Ross is doing it with an all female cast. That's only where it starts. It can't get much better than this. Ah, but it does. Relentlessly.

The actors are perfect, the direction is flawless (it is frantic but doesn't get in the way), and the script is CLASSIC. I cannot wait to see what comes next from this pen.

Dark? You betcha. But don't miss this. Absolutely, go see this.
