Linda Marlowe and Sarah-Louise Young

Rather than craft a single story to illuminate London night life, Linda Marlowe and Sarah-Louise Young have put together a series of very short sketches, filling little more than three quarters of an hour.

Each of these is intended to represent overheard conversations on or waiting for night buses. There is also a soliloquy delivered by a Night Bus!

With Sarah-Louise Young, the Edinburgh veteran portrays almost the whole gamut of night bus riders including Australian lesbians, a teen sex fiend, violent wreckers, old, young and lonely.

Sadly, the impression that one gets is of a community consisting entirely of unhappy people.

The performance are suitably varied but the material is very thin.
