Frantic Assembly INSET Workshop in Manchester

Frantic Assembly are currently touring their new production Rabbit to venues around the country including Manchester's Contact Theatre from 12th to 15th November. To coincide with the tour Frantic are holding an INSET days for teachers and lecturers in Manchester.

Our specialist INSET workshops will provide teachers and lecturers with the opportunity to develop and learn new creative skills from Frantic Assembly's Artistic Directors Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett.

As a teacher/department taking part in the INSET workshop you will have the opportunity to:

  • Experience the various processes involved in creating Frantic Assembly's award winning shows and find out how to develop key skills crucial to the performer/director
  • Learn new and exciting approaches to devising work
  • Look at new approaches when realising text through integration of dialogue and movement
  • Find ways in creating choreography for groups of all abilities
  • Build your own physical confidence, learn new skills and take them into the classroom

This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers to build on their skills and experience a unique insight into Frantic Assembly's theatre and highly successful education work.

Date: Friday 14th November 2003
Duration: 10am - 5pm
Location: Central Manchester (venue tbc)

Cost: £75.00 + VAT - a discount rate for teachers bringing a school party of 15 or more to see Rabbit on tour. Normal rate £100.00 + VAT
