Titus
Andronicus
The next production will be Titus
Andronicus .
The Roman empire is crumbling, the barbarians are
at the gates, the new emperor is degenerate and incompetent.
All look to Titus Andronicus their greatest general , and the
embodiment of the ancient virtues.
But by staying true to the old ways he makes a fatal error and
so unleashes a torrent of violence that overwhelms his family
and Rome.
Driven out of his mind he plots a terrible vengeance ....
Titus Andronicus was one of Shakespeare's most popular
plays in his lifetime.
It is also the ultimate revenge tragedy and will be performed
