Henry VI: Rebellion

Author(s): William Shakespeare
Company: Royal Shakespeare Company

“I will stir up in England some black storm
Shall blow ten thousand souls to heaven or hell”

With fighting and division in the corridors of power at an all-time high, ordinary men and women start to speak out. But as the people rise in protest, who is behind their rebellion?

Originally titled The First Part of the Contention betwixt the two famous houses of York and Lancaster and labelled Henry VI: Part 2 when first published, the RSC's Henry VI: Rebellion asks if the people can ever really decide their own future.
