Some of the very best young ballet graduates from around the world get their moment in the spotlight in this programme which includes sparkling classical highlights from Frederick Ashton’s Rhapsody, created in 1981 for Mikhail Baryshnikov and Lesley Collier, Carlos’s own temperature-raising Carmen, Bournonville’s La Sylphide, Petipa’s explosive Diana and Actaeon pas de deux and Carlos’s own new interpretation of Fokine’s The Dying Swan, featuring two dancers.
