Blueberries For The Rainbow

Author(s): Hazel Fattorusso Running time: 1h 15min approx Age recommendation: 14+ years

It’s just a normal morning for mums Loretta and Catherine, until Loretta suddenly, and unexpectedly, disappears in the middle of Catherine’s visit, leaving behind her four-month-old baby.

Can the three people closest to Loretta work why she left her perfect life, perfect husband and two perfect children, before it’s too late?

With a cast of four, the play jumps back through time to see what has happened in the 402 days since Loretta conceived her second child, which may have led to this catastrophic event.

And how, through societal changes, more awareness and better care for mothers, this may have been prevented.
