Theatre company X-Entricity is to return to Hereford theatre The Courtyard in summer 2021 with the musical Kinky Boots.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to get back onto The Courtyard stage again,” said X-Entricity director Steve Liddle. “By the time we perform, it will have been nearly two years since our last show, so we’re itching to bring the musical magic back to Hereford audiences.
“As this production is initially being sold at socially distanced capacity, there should be absolutely no reason for it to not to go ahead which is incredibly exciting. We’re thankful to The Courtyard for supporting us to make this all happen after what’s been a very difficult 12 months for the industry and theatre fans.”
X-entricity was formed in 2002 and has trained and developed more than 1,000 young people. The company was due to perform Shrek the Musical in May 2020 which has been moved to 2022.
Kinky Boots which features songs by Cyndi Lauper will run in The Courtyard’s main house from Tuesday 17 until Saturday 21 August.
