Young Octagon

Young Octagon, being launched in Bolton, will focus on developing young actors and is open for young people aged 13–19 (or up to aged 25 for participants with additional needs) who are ready to progress further with acting, would like more opportunities to perform and are considering acting as a potential career.

The company will offer the chance to create theatre working with directors, actors and other creatives to gain insight into the industry and experience the professional rehearsal process.

Young People will be recruited through auditions and in the first year, starting in September, will work towards a performance to be showcased as part of the opening of the Octagon’s new building in 2020.

Workshop auditions take place July 18 and 20.
