Unity’s winter / spring programme in Liverpool begins next month with a Christmas Festival: three weeks of cabaret, circus, music, workshops and family productions celebrating the city’s creative community.
From spring 2022, Unity welcomes back companies and performers including Graeae Theatre, Actors Touring Company, Aakash Odedra, Figs in Wigs, Melissa Johns, Silvia Mercuriali and Vamos, plus special events including award-winning comedians, poets and musicians.
Closer to home, Unity’s 2022 programme also features Liverpool-based companies such as Will Dickie, The Secret Circus and All Things Considered, which returns in February with new co-production 8 Hours There and Back, developed alongside national charity Time Matters UK to shine a light on children affected by parental imprisonment.
Unity also announce a £1-a-month On Demand platform housing high-quality recordings of their live-events programme plus a series of online training, workshops and round-table discussions from artists in the season.
