Melding pop singer Britney Spears’s turbulent life with the voice of a millennial superfan, Saving Britney is coming to Blackpool and Manchester in March.

The show explores the effect of pop stars, the problematic depiction of mental health in the media and the tricky subject of Britney’s controversial conservatorship.

Saving Britney has been nominated for several awards and following its tour will transfer to New York.

Shereen Roushbaiani performs as Jean, a typical millennial who grew up alongside the rise and fall of Britney Spears. Running time is 70 minutes and it’s suitable for ages 12+.

On March 5 it’s at Old Electric, Blackpool, 3PM and 7PM, and March 8–10 at Hope Mill, Manchester.
