Tying into Down’s Syndrome Awareness Month, the play explores how two sisters (Emily & Sophie)—only two years apart—shared the same upbringing, raised by their single mother in Hull, but had very different journeys through life and womanhood.
The play lays bare the true hardship faced by a family living in a place where Down's Syndrome was stigmatised, sidelined, and treated as an illness.
Age rating 14+ as the play contains some strong, offensive and sexual language.
