Casting for the first UK and Ireland tour of romantic musical comedy Waitress, at Manchester Opera House November 8–20 includes Lucie Jones as Jenna, Sandra Marvin as Becky, Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn and Busted’s Matt Willis as Dr Pomatter.
Lucie Jones reprises the role having played in the West End, and after she came to prominence in the finals of ITV’s X Factor.
Waitress is based on the movie written by Adrienne Shelly with music and lyrics by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles.
It tells the story of a woman who dreams of a way out of her loveless marriage, celebrating friendship, motherhood... and the magic of a well-made pie.
