Tyne and Wear, Teesside and North Yorkshire

As Tyne and Wear and Teesside contain the region's two major conurbations, it makes sense that there will be the biggest concentration of theatres and therefore of Christmas shows there than anywhere else.

The BTG North East region also contains a part of North Yorkshire, but only a small one, the rural area stretching from the Tees Valley to Harrogate.
