Singin’ in the Rain

Author(s): Screenplay by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed Company: Kilworth House Theatre

Adapted from the 1952 movie of the same name, 'Singin’ In The Rain' is set in Hollywood in the 1920s when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies – and some of its stars – behind.

Packed full of charm, romance, comedy and tinsel-town glamour, this spectacular show focuses on romantic lead Don Lockwood, his sidekick Cosmo Brown, aspiring actress Kathy Selden and Lockwood's leading lady Lina Lamont whose less-than-dulcet vocal tones make her an unlikely candidate for stardom in talking pictures.
