Life After

Teenager Ashleigh dreams of becoming a writer. Her mum, Shaz, rejects her aspirations because people like them don’t have dreams like that. Besides, Ashleigh’s supposed to be working to support the family, or looking after her little sister.
Aging English teacher, Robert Carter, has had enough. The job isn’t what it used to be. He’s the old guard and every move he makes is wrong. The Head wants him out. But can he afford retirement?
When tragedy strikes, Ashleigh and Carter form an unlikely friendship. But is this friendship, this love of writing, enough to pull them through? In the face of catastrophe, they can’t simply ‘move on’. But can they go on; forge a new life from the broken pieces?'
